Days of never ending darkness.

2 prisoners down... 5 more to go.

Well all has gone well so far in this tale, 2 of the prisoners have been taken back to town and all of you have been given the reward of 200 gold per person that you bring back. Which brings us up to a funny conclusion of drug addict gnomes, flesh eating lizards, and a mysteriouse town drunk who seems to remember everones name except for the Snowelf “Is that you Diggory??” The facts still remain true though, there are five more prisoners left to get inside of the Rivenroar catacombs, the treasure that was stolen should be given back to the town …... should… and you all have to still deal with the Red Hand and their leader (Whoever that might be.)

For those of you who werent at the first game (for those who were skip this post)

There are a few small details you missed if you misseed the last game.

1.) You missed the Story of our Gods (Called The Immortal), which tells the story of our world (mainly just fillier, but it gives a unique look into our pasts, and allows you all to think of your dietys more wisely, pluss it explains why Elves hate all races… which brings us to the main topic of the story.

2.) Your old friend Soarn invited you all to a small town called Brindol where he has ultimately stoped his andventuring years and wishes that you all come and meet him in the bar named:The Forgotten Five, for he has somthing to request of you before he dies. When you all get there his appearance had changed much in these past years, hor he had now lost a leg and his voice rasped with age he looked into you eyes and asked you all one thing “please come together, despite your differences, and become an adventuring band to stop the Red Hand before the get out of control” (Yes, i know its stupid, it sounds awefully like Black Hand but i didnt choose the name) when asked about the the Red Hand he Tells a tale of a war not but 20 years ago where the goblins gathered together and attacked the town, and he suspects that they are gathering in numbers. Which are due to dightings of goblins sighted in the woords and poorly painted red hands on ruins in the mountains. Then when his story comes to an end, multiple goblins broke into the bar and started to burn it down, and it wasnt until a few many moments latter did the PC’s find themselves at an awkward situation. A burned down bar,.... well more like the whole town… stolen artifacts from the old Red Hand War, and seven missing people. So the town called together a meeting and asked the adventurers to go save the prisoners and .. umm… not that it matters THAT much but they want their treasure back and are willing to pay for both of them. As they exited the town hall meeting they saw a peculiar sight, an elf riding a black horse and in the garb of the The Trinity Empire rolled up and proceded to throw down (Jakes Character) place his boot on his head, and readied his wand to kill him… if it hadent been for Landon who stoped him saying that Jake was…. nessessary….. when asked what his purpose was in town he told Landon that he was here to tell the town that if they had been in controll everything would have been just fine, but because they refuse bad things just must have to happen to the town of Brindol. They then proceded to inerigate a gnome for location to his comrads, and with lucky success he told them they were in the catacombs of Rivenroar (where the dead from the war were buried.) So they succeded very skillfully to track down the lair where the goblins were hiding, and get inside to begin their mission, but sadly their time was limited in the caverns of Rivenroar, it takes 8 hours from town to get there. Then ontop of that, if you wish to go home at night you have to pass through The Gloom Wood (not a fun place u might guess0 So they managed to save one prisoner, bring her home and get some money out of it. Not without a price however, Micks character lost his left arm, so much profit was lost. However, the town gave them two horses a cart and some other supplies (See Supplies and Items in the other section of the Obsidian File.)They then managed the next day to go back to Rivenroar (now in 6 hours do to their horses) and save one other prisoner, who was suffering from filth feaver, and was being held captive in a room with a drug addict gnome AND a trap that sprang flesh eating lizards, who managed to bite the left side of Jakes face PRETTY BADLY… but allas they managed to get the prisoner home safely, get paid and this is where we stoped. Any questions about the layout of the history of our world, the races etc, just ask me AND if u plan on coming for the game on the 20th (tommorow) please tell me what your character is so i can fit him logically in the story, not just: “hey guys im cool and i want in”... cz thats dumb.

The darkness must come defore the rising dawn.

The mist continued to spray out of the druids hands, and the room soon fell into a deep mist…. All were blinded, except the hero’s Valor and Zora, who were the ever most present heroes in the ending of the fight against the villainous leader of goblins: Sinruth. Through this cloud of fog he used his chain whip as a guide, to find his enemy’s where he could not see, and this is how he struck down Zorah, like Udyr the Mighty, she fell into the blackness that is unconsciousness. Upon which Sinruth flung himself around her, pinning her neck between the floor and his elbow, poised to end her life at any second. If Valor hadn’t delved into the mind of his enemy. For, Valor felt fear, and an urge to survive, and like most goblins when faced with death, he knew that Sinruth would do anything to ensure he wouldn’t die, so they struck a deal. Sinruth vowed to leave this place, and not bother them for as long as he could, and to tell them everything he knew about where the last prisoner was….IF…..and only if…. the cleric, which he knew he could heal with a flask he had present, would promise to him that he would go unharmed. This was cunning on Sinruth’s side, for he was an older goblin, one more knowledgeable in the old ways of good clerics, which had soon disappeared in our modern time, and he knew a promise a cleric made… they were forced to keep….. so the deal was struck.. and Sinruth handed over three more pieces of the missing treasure from the town and spilled what he knew in brutal honesty.. “I know that the last prisoner we had, we gave to ….. the thing… in the chamber to the far right that you passed to find me, for there is some darkness that derives itself in there.. we know not who or what it is.. but it is pure evil.. it sends Skeletons, Ettercap, and Rat Lycantherope to us as emissary’s… and most dangerous of all.. we fear IT has a demon on the other side of that door… If you wish to save the prisoner, know that you must do it quickly, for I fear the worst for him….” Sinruth also told the details about how he actually isn’t the true leader of the Red Hand, hes a second in command. The main leader lives in a tower of some sort not far off from the Rivenroar catacombs. He also told how they shouldn’t be worried about right now, because of you all, their numbers are depleted and he felt they would soon dissolve….. and with that… the dangerous, yet honorable Sinruth left….and that was last of him…. for now.

Beyond the next door...

The last prisoner has yet to be found, along with the 3 pieces of treasure taken from Brindol. As Sinruth takes his leave, and you go down the checklist of people and items to find, you know, there is but one last place to check for the items and the boy….Yes … a mere child who just reached the age of 8 is the last prisoner… and if you all listen to the last door… his screams can be heard… weather he will live or he will die, depends on how fast you get to him.

where are we needed most and what can we handle?

They stood outside the for-looming door that held the last prisoner, and supposedly the worst creature inside the keep… a demon… anxiety began to settle in… “Alright…. we have to handle this one way or another” Lucan said allowed breaking the silence… we need to save this last prisoner.. of course all knew deep down that perhaps his only desire was for money but he did have a point, this had to be done.. then least expectantly out of all of them Stein proposed the idea that they rush in and get the boy as fast as possible, without a conflict with the demon himself.. then as all came to the conclusion that this idea was the best the door was opened and the labyrinth lay ahead… As they ventured through the caverns they fought evil beings that guarded the halls:corpses that once protected the keep from intruders like the demon but had inevitably befallen an ill fate at some point, only to be used as the twisted creatures they were now. In the fight Stein was bitten and had been stricken by a curse of Filth Feaver… which was getting progressively worse… so they gave him a horse, money and a note that was intended to tell the village that he needed aid if he couldn’t remain awake the whole ride to town.. It inevitably turned out that way and after he had paid the apothecary and began to leave he heard a commotion outside and as he flung the door open he saw elves carrying screaming sacks, and dragging children into the Gloomwood.. and there stood the most for-looming elf he had ever laid his eyes upon.. the wind blew the elf’s hair and cloak like the gusts of an autumn wind blow shut the shutters of the houses and his visage was so clean yet as horrid as the death he carried with him… his arm outstretched and there landed his companion… and a nickname he had been given, a White Hawk…. he turned and fled into the forest as fast as the arrow flies….. and he was gone… As the heroes inevitably scramble on their way out of the for-looming door and the labyrinth within, they saved the boy and began to muster the rest of the rescued prisoners to leave… with beaten backs and hurt bodies they turned on the Riven Roar Catacombs without having cleared it of its demon but putting a ward on it only to delay the evil fe elves… or another time… As they approached the town of Brindle a mob had broken out for the sake of the town… arguments had been put in place, one man suggested to turn Brindle over to the elves because they could protect the town… and others blamed the elves saying that the elves had stolen the children… but again the heroes were called upon.. to hunt down theses slavers and get the children back…. SLAVERS…. the word rang in Udyr’s ears,,, he turned to stein and demanded their leaders description…...... and he realized these were the slavers that took him from his family…. and so the hunt began for the White Hawk Slavers….
